What we're covering today
Your Podcast Landing Page Should Include 3 Ways to Consume the Content
1. Watch the Episode
If video exists?
Embed it.
This could be:
- YouTube
- Vimeo
- Zoom replay
- talking-head style recording
Video builds trust FAST.
And for some users, watching your facial expressions, energy, and delivery creates deeper connection than audio alone.
Especially for coaches and personal brands.
2. Listen on Their Favorite Podcast Player
Do NOT force people into one platform.
Give listeners flexibility.
Include:
- Spotify
- Apple Podcasts
- direct audio player
- other preferred listening apps if available
This creates a lower-friction experience.
Which matters because Pinterest traffic is often colder than your existing audience.
You want consumption to feel EASY.
Not like homework.
3. Include a Full Blog-Style Written Version
This part?
This is the secret sauce.
Please don’t ignore this step.
Because Pinterest users are conditioned to expect depth.
They are SEARCHING for information.
Meaning:
a thin podcast page with two sentences and an audio embed usually underperforms.
A strong Pinterest-friendly episode page should include:
- searchable headers
- educational breakdowns
- skimmable formatting
- bold takeaways
- strategic keywords
- embedded visuals
- actionable insights
Essentially:
your podcast episode becomes a full evergreen resource.
Think of it as an upgrade to your old school show notes,
Not just a media file.
And bonus?
This dramatically improves:
- SEO
- time on page
- Pinterest understanding
- accessibility, hello, thank you!
- conversion potential
Add Pinterest-Designed Images DIRECTLY Into the Blog Post
This is another massively overlooked strategy.
I love including 1–2 vertical Pinterest graphics directly inside the episode page itself.
Why?
Because it creates built-in circulation opportunities.
Readers can:
- save directly from the blog
- share organically to Pinterest
- re-pin later
- interact with visual hooks while reading
And Pinterest can also associate those embedded graphics with the surrounding keyword-rich content.
Meaning your blog itself becomes part of the Pinterest ecosystem.
Not just the destination AFTER the click.
This works beautifully for clients, too.
For example, I implemented this strategy for my client:
Sober Vibes
Their episode pages weren’t just podcast embeds.
They became:
- educational resources
- searchable blog content
- Pinterest-friendly traffic assets
- multi-format content hubs
Which creates a MUCH stronger evergreen visibility system overall.
Another brand killing it with long-form podcasts is Designer’s Oasis
She starts her listeners off with an option to sort themself into collections based on experience.
She includes a pinnable image followed by a quote from the episode & a button to listen on the page itself, or choice of players (maybe save for later listening)
Followed by a concise recap of the episode.
A link to the full transcript (helloooo accessibility awesomeness!)
and links mentioned in this episode for driving traffic further into ecosystem,
Think Like a Media Company, Not Just a Podcaster
The podcasters winning on Pinterest are not treating episodes like temporary content.
They’re treating each episode like:
- a searchable asset
- a long-term traffic source
- a conversion pathway
- a multimedia resource hub
That shift changes everything.
Because now your podcast isn’t just something people “keep up with.”
It becomes something new people discover every single day.
BTW Pinterest Is Reading More Than Your Pin Title
A lot of people think Pinterest only reads the pin title and description.
Nope.
Pinterest is all up in your biz trying to determine:
“What is this content actually about?”
Which means specificity matters.
If your:
- pin title
- episode title
- page title
- blog headers
- keywords
- imagery (does a pinnable image appear?)
- CTA
…all reinforce the same topic?
Pinterest gains confidence in your content.
That confidence increases discoverability.
Keep in mind that Pinterest actually scans your pin image for text clues.
One Podcast Episode Should NEVER Equal One Piece of Content
This part right here?
This is where the magic happens.
Because one podcast episode can become an entire evergreen ecosystem.
And most coaches are dramatically underutilizing their content.
You do NOT need more content.
You need amplification.
Which brings us to:
Multiply the Modalities
Here’s exactly how I’d turn ONE podcast episode into 10 Pinterest assets.
Let’s say your episode is called:
“How to Grow Your Email List Without Posting Daily on Social Media”
Here’s what I’d create:
Asset #1 — The Main Pinterest Graphic
This is your core pin.
Clean.
Keyword-rich.
Clear promise.
Examples:
- How to Grow Your Email List Without Social Media Burnout
- Evergreen Email Growth for Coaches
- Pinterest Strategies for Membership Growth
This pin links directly to the blog-style podcast episode page.
Asset #2 — A Curiosity Hook Pin
Different angle.
Same episode.
Examples:
- The reason your email list isn’t growing has NOTHING to do with Instagram
- Coaches are exhausting themselves chasing visibility when Pinterest exists
Pinterest LOVES multiple pin angles pointing to the same URL.
Because different messaging attracts different people.
Asset #3 — A Problem-Aware Pin
Speak directly to frustration.
Examples:
- Posting daily but your email list still isn’t growing?
- Your funnel doesn’t need more followers. It needs fuel.
Now we’re activating emotional resonance.
Asset #4 — A Step-by-Step Educational Pin
Break the episode into:
- 3 steps
- 5 mistakes
- beginner tips
- framework snippets
Pinterest users LOVE educational formatting.
Especially:
- lists
- tutorials
- transformations
Asset #5 — Quote Graphic Pin
Pull a spicy line from the episode.
Examples:
“Social media content expires. Pinterest content compounds.”
or
“Your podcast deserves more than launch-week attention.”
These build authority beautifully.
Asset #6 — Short Vertical Video Pin
Take a 15–30 second clip from the episode.
Overlay captions.
Strong hook.
Fast pacing.
Pinterest is prioritizing video more heavily than most people realize.
And because Pinterest users are often calmer and more intentional than Instagram scrollers?
Educational clips perform incredibly well.
Asset #7 — Carousel/Idea Pin Style Content
Break the episode into bite-sized teachings.
Think:
- mistakes
- myths
- quick wins
- frameworks
This works beautifully for:
- coaches
- educators
- consultants
- podcasters
Especially in the evergreen business space.
Asset #8 — A Lead Magnet Companion Pin
Create a related opt-in tied to the episode.
Examples:
- Podcast SEO Checklist
- Pinterest Setup Guide
- Evergreen Funnel Map
- Content Repurposing Workflow
Now your episode becomes a lead generation machine.
Asset #9 — A “Contrarian POV” Pin
Pinterest LOVES strong perspectives.
Examples:
- Your homepage is probably hurting your Pinterest conversions
- Most podcasters are wasting their best content
- Pinterest is NOT just for recipes and weddings anymore
These stop the scroll FAST.
Asset #10 — A Long-Term Seasonal Refresh Pin
Months later?
You can revive the SAME episode with:
- updated graphics
- seasonal angles
- trend shifts
- new headlines
Because Pinterest content has longevity.
Unlike Instagram where your content disappears into the abyss approximately 14 seconds after posting.
The Real Goal Isn’t Traffic
Traffic alone means nothing.
We want aligned, targeted traffic.
Meaning:
people who arrive already searching for what you solve.
This is where:
Engineer the Evergreen Entry Points
comes into play.
Your podcast episode should naturally guide people deeper into your ecosystem.
Examples:
- Episode → lead magnet → nurture sequence → membership
- Episode → mini podcast → strategy intensive
- Episode → workshop → evergreen course
- Episode → 1:1 application
Your content should feel interconnected.
Intentional.
Engineered.
Not random.
Final Thoughts
Your podcast is already an authority asset.
Pinterest simply helps the right people discover it.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Long after launch week ends.
So instead of treating your episodes like temporary content…
Start treating them like evergreen entry points into your ecosystem.
Because the goal isn’t just visibility.
It’s sustainable visibility.
The kind that compounds quietly in the background while your business keeps evolving.
And girlfriend?
That changes everything.
